"GREAT IDEAS GET EVEN BETTER WHEN YOU SHARE THEM." - LOESJE

It started with Clare lending Sarah a book…

“Don’t forget to write it down somewhere, because I know what I’m like”, said Sarah. “Oh, don’t worry”, said Clare, “I’ll put it in my borrowing book.”

“Your what?”

“Well, I get a bit twitchy if I don’t know where everything is, so I have a book where I write down everything I’ve lent and borrowed….in fact I was thinking someone should do one of those…”

“Oooh…”

…and so the idea for The Borrowing Book was born.

Through our shared love of organisation and pretty little 'objets', we came up with what we believe is a perfect response to William Morris’ request to “have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”

We’d like to think William would approve!
